PROJECT OVERVIEW
Located in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district, sPlace Park is an established residential development originally built by Layetana Real Estate Polska, comprising 448 apartments across five buildings. In 2025, the homeowners association initiated a comprehensive upgrade to replace the aging analog intercom system with a modern IP-based solution, while minimizing disruption to residents.
Completed in phases between 2025 and 2026, the project introduces DNAKE video intercom and access control technology to enhance security, convenience, and everyday access management across the residential community.
Location: Warsaw, Poland.
THE SOLUTION
Upgrading the intercom system across five occupied buildings presented a key challenge: replacing an ageing analogue system without opening walls or replacing the existing in-wall cabling. By reusing the original cabling and introducing a new fibre-optic backbone connecting all five buildings, DNAKE delivered a modern IP intercom system while minimising construction work and disruption to residents.
The upgraded system features 43 door stations and 8 gate stations across the development. DNAKE S617 8-inch facial recognition Android door stations serve 18 staircase entrances and four estate gates, offering multiple entry methods, including facial recognition, PIN codes, cards, Bluetooth, and mobile app access. At the car park entrances, the original C112 video door phones were upgraded to S414 4.3-inch facial recognition door stations in 2026, extending contactless access to additional areas.
Previous Installation: C112 Video Door Phone (replaced by S414 at car park entrances in 2026)
Inside the apartments, the homeowners association provided the DNAKE E216 7-inch SIP indoor monitor as the standard option, while residents could choose to upgrade to other models, including E416W, A416W, H616W, H618W, and 280M-S3, based on their individual preferences. This flexible approach accommodated different preferences for screen size, design, and functionality while maintaining a unified intercom system.
For centralized communication, the DNAKE 902C-A Android-based IP master station supports call management at the reception desk. Meanwhile, the DNAKE Smart Pro App allows residents to answer visitor calls and unlock doors remotely, view live video, access call history, and generate temporary QR codes for guests and deliveries.
